Introducing Sustain Meditation In A new Light

The bridge between practicing meditation and reaching its objective is the necessity of perseverance. If you are serious about entering the timeless, continuous state of self-realization, you will have to stop giving in to every craving for a cup of coffee, a favorite television show, or a massage, for a week or for a month. It’s impossible to sustain meditation for an extended period if you are not resigned to one thing: the progress of self-knowing must take precedence. So  if you see a few sentences of scripture, or hear a few mantras of meditation, before the motivation to do anything else is gone, or you experience little or no joy from your practice, or feel exhausted, the idea of practicing meditation, of being detached from the trivial world, and observing one. Stay in your meditation posture: Weighing, breathing, and walking meditation remain the key components of a complete meditation practice. Within the context of a traditional Chinese meditation circle, practitioners begin to experience a sense of expanded presence, seeing and perceiving the present moment from a completely different perspective. They slowly begin to turn inward to identify their thoughts and feelings. At this point in time, practitioners can learn to observe their thoughts and feelings rather than make them. Meditation practice helps people to see the nature of their mind, and to direct it toward the practice of mindfulness. It also helps to bring greater focus and detachment from the deluge of daily distractions.
